learn + share + grow
"Divorce is a process, not an event."
- Alan D. Wolfelt, Ph.D.
At VDS, we are dedicated to providing compassionate emotional support throughout your divorce journey. Our goal is to help you navigate the complexities of the experience with empathy, education, and community.

Ann Durden Donovan, LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and Caroline Woody Williams, CDC (Certified Divorce Coach) developed this program to bring awareness to the divorce journey through education and support in a small group setting. They are empathetic and experienced leaders who have both gone through their own divorces.
They believe that being part of a divorce support group is an integral part of successfully integrating divorce in our lives. Learning and sharing with others experiencing divorce allows us to grow as people, partners, and parents. Their goal is to help you manage your journey with intelligence and community in hopes of improving your and your families lives.
Together, they offer a wealth of resources to support you during your separation and post-divorce life. Through years of friendship and professional collaboration, they have created a welcoming and safe space to learn, share, and grow.

We are currently inviting new members to join our weekly virtual groups. Reach out below to connect with us for more information and to register.

Sessions are small, educational, and goal-oriented. Each week, we introduce concepts and tools to increase awareness and help integrate divorce into your life. Our groups are collaborative, conversational, and incorporate both information and open discussion. We facilitate a semi-private and discreet space to keep you safe, heard, and understood.

We offer 1:1 coaching sessions for those seeking a private and personalized experience. Sessions can be conducted virtually or in-person in Richmond, Virginia.
